While the spicy flavor and scent of gingerbread might feel like a comfy blanket for our senses, spending a weekend, baking, assembling and decorating a cookie house that we can’t even eat once it’s jaw-breakingly stale is just too much during holiday craziness. This year, we’re skipping the oven and heading to the blender. All the spiced holiday cheer, none of the frustration focused at candy-coated “roofing”.


1 Banana, Frozen
8oz Cinnamon & Clove Coconut Water
1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon Molasses
1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
Cinnamon, for Garnish


  1. Combine ingredients in blender & process until smooth.
  2. Pour into glass, dust with cinnamon.
  3.  Enjoy!


Substitute ½ inch piece of fresh ginger root for ground ginger.
